Anarkali Akarsha deputed Miss Sri Lanka for Miss World 2004 Pageant, in the same year she was awarded “The Most Popular Actress” in Sri Lanka.
When she is idle she like to spend her time for speech writing, songwriting, designing clothes, western dancing and kandyan dancing. Her favorite sports are playing netball, basketball, cricket, croquet, bowling, pool and athletics. The motto of her life is “Always be a first-rate version of yourself instead of a second-rate version of somebody else”. Her sole ambition is to become an Ambassador for UNICEF.
